For students and families

A university asks your organization for an introduction, and says why.

Your account comes from your CBO or your school. It is free for students and parents.

A request goes to your counselor first

  1. 01A college asks about you

A college searches by graduation year, state, student type, interests and GPA band. The request goes to your counselor first.

  2. 02You see the reason

Every request says what the college wants to invite you to and what it is asking for.

  3. 03One organization, one counselor

Each student belongs to one organization, and a counselor works their caseload inside it.

  4. 04A shared staff channel

A partnership between an organization and a university opens a shared staff channel.

  • Your counselor, Ms. Okafor

Northfield University would like to know who you are. I read their request and it looks real.

  • Northfield University asks for

Your name, your email and your phone number. Reason: an invitation to a nursing preview day, travel covered.

  • You

Thanks. I can see the reason: a nursing preview day, travel covered.

For students

What you see when you sign in

Your tasks
What your counselor has asked you to do, and what is due next.
Your messages
A direct line to your counselor, in one thread you can find again.
Your sharing decisions
A list of every university that has asked to learn more about you, and what you said.

For parents and guardians

What you can do

You can follow your student's progress and see the tasks they have been given. You can message their counselor.

If your student is under 18, you are the one who answers when a university asks for their information. You can approve or decline each request on its own.

How sharing works

In plain words

Your CBO may ask to list you in a pool that universities can search by graduation year, state, student type, interests and GPA band.

In the pool, a university sees things like your graduation year, your state and your interests.

A request goes to your organization first.

How the connections work

The short version

One organization per student
Each student belongs to one organization, and a counselor works a caseload inside it.
Every university is confirmed
Every university is confirmed before it can search the pool.
Every read is recorded
Each time a university opens a student profile, it is written to an audit log.
Introductions
A university asks your organization for an introduction, and says why.
