A recruiter at Northfield University
Search by fit, then ask for an introduction
01You search by fit
Graduation year, state, student type, interests and GPA band.
02You ask, with a reason
Say what you are inviting the student to. The request goes to the organization that knows them.
03Staff pass it on
A counselor at the organization reads your reason first.

If you use Slate today
Slate works your funnel. This brings you students through the organizations that already know them.
Slate, the admissions CRM
What Slate does
- Manages inquiries, applicants, events and communications once a student is in your funnel
- Shares application status with counselors through Slate.org, where you choose to
- Licensed per institution, by the year
CBOs of America
What you get here on top
- Meet students before they are in any funnel, through the organizations that already know them
- Search by graduation year, state, student type, interests and GPA band, then ask for an introduction
- Publish events, deadlines and visits once, from the feed or email tool you already use, to every member counselor's calendar
- Tell nearby organizations when a representative is in town, and book meetings
- A staff channel with each partner organization, kept when people change jobs
We are not an admissions CRM. We do not read applications or manage your funnel.
What Slate does is taken from Technolutions' own public documentation, read in October 2026. Slate and Slate.org are products of Technolutions, which is not connected to CBOs of America.

Discover is a search across students that member CBOs have listed. You filter by graduation year, state, student type, interest and GPA band.
What you see is on the left. A handle for each student, the organization that works with the student, and a short set of fixed fields. There is no free text.
A search that matches fewer than 10 students returns no results. That keeps a narrow filter from pointing at one person.

What we will not do
Limits that do not move
We do not charge per referral, per application or per enrollment, and we never will. A flat membership means no one is paid for sending a student to you.
Profiles carry no race, ethnicity, nationality, immigration status, disability or justice involvement, and you cannot filter by them.
